Boat Rental Policies
- You must be at least 25 to reserve, rent, or drive a rental boat
- You must have a valid driver's license
- You must have a valid credit card for the security deposit
- No grills or smoking allowed on the boats
- No pets are allowed on the boats
- Rentals are equipped with US Coast Guard approved Type 1 life jackets
- Infant life jackets are not provided but are available for purchase in our retail store
- You are responsible for any damage done to rental boats
- Boats always leave with a full tank of fuel, customer will be billed for fuel used during the rental
- A non-refundable deposit required at the time of reservation. This deposit will be applied to the cost of the rental.
- Canandaigua Boatworks reserves the right to determine if the weather is suitable for boating. If there is severe weather throughout the day, we will work with you to reschedule.
- If you wish to reschedule your rental, and we are within 7 days of your rental date, a reschedule is not permitted
- If you wish to reschedule your rental, and your rental is outside of 7 days of your rental date, a 1-time change is permissible.
- In the event of inclement weather, Canandaigua Boatworks will make the determination on whether it is safe to be out on the water or not. If the determination that it is unsafe to launch boats, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a refund of your deposit. While we hope every day is sunny and beautiful, we cannot control the weather. Cloudy and light rain days do not constitute a refund of your deposit
Public Launch

- Monday - Thursday | 10:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday - Sunday | Launches are not permitted, no exceptions
- Price: $40/launch
- Trailers must leave the property immediately following launch.
